Frequently Asked Questions
The following answers cover B2B cooperation, product selection and customization, project documentation, lithium-battery shipping, commercial terms, quality control, and after-sales support. Model availability, specifications, pricing, minimum order quantity, lead time, document applicability, and service scope are governed by the quotation, specification, order, contract, and model-specific documents confirmed by both parties.
Company and Cooperation
1. What is Anwiel?
Anwiel is the battery and new-energy power brand of Shenzhen Jiateng Electronics Co., Ltd. We serve professional customers and commercial projects with lithium batteries, battery packs, backup power products, portable UPS systems, energy-storage solutions, solar inverters, and related support. Current product availability, specifications, and service scope are subject to the applicable product information and written project confirmation. We can assist with standard product selection and evaluate OEM/ODM cooperation based on project requirements.
2. Who does Anwiel work with?
We primarily serve brands, distributors, system integrators, equipment manufacturers, project companies, and other B2B customers. Requirements for performance, mechanical design, labels, packaging, documentation, and delivery vary by customer, so please include the application, target market, and estimated quantity in your inquiry to support an initial fit assessment.
3. Do you support OEM/ODM projects?
For eligible products and projects, we can evaluate customization requirements such as electrical specifications, dimensions, connectors, wiring, BMS functions, enclosures, labels, packaging, and project documentation. The available scope depends on the product category, technical feasibility, validation requirements, supply conditions, and project volume. A customization item becomes part of a project only after written evaluation and confirmation.
4. How do we start a new project?
Please send the application, key specifications, estimated quantity, target market, expected timing, and any available drawings or sample information to sales@anwiel.com or george@anwiel.com. We will conduct an initial review based on the information received, then discuss possible directions, open technical and commercial points, sample or validation arrangements, and next steps. Initial discussions do not constitute a technical commitment or order acceptance.
5. Can you sign a confidentiality agreement?
If a project involves non-public drawings, technical specifications, trademarks, or commercial information, you may request a confidentiality agreement before detailed information is exchanged. The contracting entity, scope, term, and obligations must be confirmed in writing by authorized representatives of both parties. Customer projects or marks should be used on the website or in marketing materials only with explicit authorization.
Product Selection and Customization
6. How do I choose the right battery or power product?
Selection should begin with the actual load, operating profile, and target market, not capacity alone. Typical inputs include nominal and operating voltage, continuous and peak current, target runtime, size and weight limits, operating temperature, charging and discharging method, connectors, installation space, duty cycle, and applicable market. More complete information helps narrow the candidate range, but final suitability remains subject to project review and any required validation.
7. What information is needed for a custom battery pack?
Please provide, where available: the application, rated voltage and voltage range, required capacity or runtime, continuous and peak power/current, size and weight limits, connector and cable length, charger information, operating temperature, protection or communication functions, enclosure and ingress-protection needs, label/packaging requirements, target market, and estimated quantity. If some parameters are not yet defined, send the equipment specification and operating profile for an initial assessment. Final parameters should be recorded in a mutually approved specification.
8. Can you provide samples or prototypes?
Samples of standard models may be discussed subject to availability and project conditions. A custom project generally requires requirement confirmation, design review, and quotation before prototype production can be confirmed. Sample cost, quantity, production time, shipping method, and validation scope vary by product and project and should be governed by written quotation or project documents. Passing a particular sample test does not mean that all validation or certification for mass production has been completed.
9. How are cell brand, model, and consistency requirements confirmed?
If your project specifies a cell brand or model, state this in the inquiry. We will evaluate possible solutions against product design, supply conditions, batch requirements, and target performance. Requirements for cell source, grading, consistency, or traceability should be documented in an agreed specification or quality document before order placement. Mass-production configuration should not be inferred solely from website images, sample appearance, or verbal discussions.
10. Can the BMS, connectors, enclosure, labels, and packaging be customized?
These items may be evaluated for selected products, but the available scope is not identical across all models. BMS functions must be reviewed against voltage, current, protection thresholds, communication protocol, and equipment interfaces. Enclosures, connectors, labels, and packaging are also affected by mechanical, tooling, regulatory, shipping, and volume requirements. Final configuration is governed by mutually approved specifications, drawings, sample-approval records, and order documents.
Documentation and Shipping
11. What product documents may be available?
Depending on the product and project, available materials may include specifications, manuals, drawings, label information, SDS (sometimes referred to as MSDS), UN 38.3 test summaries, test reports, conformity documents, and shipping-related information. Documents must match the specific model, configuration, named entity, revision, and destination market. The actual document list must be confirmed item by item before quotation or order placement. Listing a document type on the website does not mean it is available for every model.
12. Do all products have UN 38.3 and SDS/MSDS documents?
This cannot be guaranteed on a brand-wide basis. Lithium-battery transport documents should correspond to the specific cell, battery pack, or product configuration. A change in model, capacity, construction, key material, or supply chain may affect document applicability. Send us the exact model, configuration, and shipping plan so we can check which current documents are available and applicable to the project. A UN 38.3 test document by itself is not approval for a particular route, carrier, or destination.
13. Do certification marks shown on the website apply to every model?
No. Any certificate, test report, or certification mark must be checked against its named entity, product model, standard, issuer or laboratory, issue date, validity, and applicable market. A mark should appear on the website only when a verifiable, model-matched, current document is available and approved for publication. If that evidence is unavailable, the mark should not be displayed. Each project is governed by the latest valid documents for the target model and written confirmation between the parties.
14. Can lithium batteries be shipped by air, sea, or courier?
Available methods depend on battery type, energy rating, packing condition (shipped alone, packed with equipment, or contained in equipment), quantity, origin, destination, carrier, and current dangerous-goods rules. The legal shipper and a suitably qualified dangerous-goods logistics provider must confirm the plan against the actual goods, route, and current requirements. Anwiel may provide the product information then available for the specific project for their review. General website information does not replace dangerous-goods classification, packing, declaration, or carrier acceptance.
15. Can packaging and labels be prepared for the destination market?
This may be evaluated for eligible projects, but the destination country, sales channel, shipping method, label language, packaging level, barcode, warning information, and customer-brand requirements must be defined before order placement. Regulatory responsibilities, review steps, and final label content should be agreed in the project documents. Customer-supplied artwork, claims, or trademarks must also be confirmed by the customer as accurate, applicable, and properly authorized.
Commercial Terms and After-Sales
16. What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantity varies according to whether the product is standard or customized, as well as materials, packaging, processes, and current supply conditions. Sample, trial-order, and mass-production conditions may also differ. Send the model, customization needs, and estimated quantity so the applicable terms can be confirmed in a formal quotation or order document. The website should not publish one fixed MOQ for all products.
17. What are the lead times for samples and production orders?
Lead time depends on the model, inventory, customization level, material preparation, validation, order quantity, document approval, and the current production and supply schedule. We do not publish one fixed lead time for all projects. An estimate can be provided after requirements and order conditions are clear, but it becomes the delivery basis for a project only when confirmed in the formal order documents. Material changes may require reassessment.
18. How can I obtain pricing and payment terms?
Please provide the exact model or technical requirements, quantity, trade term, destination, packaging/label needs, and expected timing. Quotations are based on the scope and conditions confirmed at that time. Price validity, currency, taxes, freight, payment method, and bank details are governed by the formal quotation or contract. Pay only to a verified company account. If you receive a change of bank details, verify it through an existing and independent contact channel.
19. What is the warranty period?
Warranty term and coverage vary by product category, model, operating conditions, project agreement, and sales region; one period cannot cover every product. Review the applicable quotation, specification, warranty terms, or contract before ordering. Misuse, incorrect charging, operation outside specification, unauthorized modification, or external damage may be excluded, subject to the agreed terms and applicable law.
20. What should I do if there is a quality or after-sales issue?
If there is a safety concern, stop using the affected product and isolate it in accordance with site safety procedures. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, burn, or ship it using an unsuitable method. Then send the order number, model, serial or batch information, affected quantity, operating conditions, charger details, clear photos/videos, and a fault description to sales@anwiel.com or george@anwiel.com. We will conduct an initial assessment based on the information received and confirm inspection requirements, additional evidence, and next steps in writing under the applicable after-sales terms. Do not return a potentially damaged battery without suitable dangerous-goods logistics advice.
Quality, Inspection, and Project Control
21. Can we arrange a factory audit, pre-shipment inspection, or third-party testing?
Customers may request an audit, inspection, or third-party test at an early project stage. Availability, location, scope, sampling plan, acceptance criteria, schedule, cost, confidentiality, and site-safety rules must be agreed in writing by the relevant parties in advance. Third-party testing should be conducted by a mutually accepted and suitably capable organization against approved samples, models, and test scope. A particular inspection or report does not guarantee every batch, model, or market.
22. How are versions and changes controlled from sample to mass production?
At sample approval, the project should record key version information such as specifications, drawings, BOM or critical materials, software/firmware, labels and packaging, and the validation scope completed. An approved baseline should be defined before mass production. Any subsequent change that may affect performance, interfaces, safety, compliance, appearance, or supply should be assessed, notified, and approved under the change-control process agreed by the parties. The exact process, notice period, and revalidation triggers must be stated in project or quality documents and should not rely solely on website language.
23. Can batch traceability and inspection records be provided?
Batch or serial traceability methods, record content, retention periods, and releasable information vary by product, production model, and project agreement. If specific traceability is required, define the required level, label fields, inspection items, record format, and retention period before quotation or order placement. Any batch information or inspection summary that may be provided after project confirmation is governed by the actual order and quality documents. Information involving supplier confidentiality, personal data, or other customers may need to be redacted or withheld.
24. How are transport classification, packaging, and carrier responsibilities allocated?
Responsibility allocation depends on the trade term, contract, actual goods, and transport chain. In general, the product-related party may provide applicable technical and test information then available; the legal shipper is responsible for required classification, packing, marking, labeling, and declaration for the actual goods and route and should use suitably capable service providers; and the carrier or its agent determines acceptance under its own rules. Specific responsibilities, costs, and document handoffs must be confirmed in the order or shipping arrangement and remain subject to current regulations and carrier requirements.
25. Can an order be changed or cancelled after confirmation?
If a confirmed order needs to be changed or cancelled, submit a written request as soon as possible. Acceptance and any resulting cost depend on the contract, whether materials have been purchased, production or customization has started, labels or packaging have been produced, and testing or logistics costs have been incurred. A change or cancellation request does not take effect automatically without written confirmation by both parties. Reasonable committed and non-recoverable costs may be borne by the requesting party, subject to the formal order or contract.
26. What evidence is needed for a complaint or an 8D request?
To help define the issue, please provide where available: order number, model and approved revision, serial or batch number, affected quantity and total quantity received, discovery date, storage and operating conditions, connected equipment and charger details, failure symptoms, alarms or data logs, clear photos/videos, and the containment actions already taken. If an 8D or equivalent corrective-action report is requested, state this in the project or after-sales communication so the parties can confirm applicability, responsibility interfaces, sample or data needs, and expected response milestones. Whether an 8D is opened, the findings, and completion timing depend on evidence completeness, sample availability, issue complexity, and the applicable after-sales terms.
Still Have a Question?
